Cafe Denaro is placed on the site of one of the first ANZ banks to be built in Essendon, Melbourne, Victoria.

10 years ago the bank was closed and re-established as a cafe, and for the last 3 years has been known as Kosina Cafe.

In February of 2008, Cafe Denaro was born. With the aim of maintaining the sites heritage, the name Cafe Denaro (meaning "currency" in Italian) was chosen.

Backed by 20 years experience in well-known Melbourne restaurants, Cafe Denaro is sure to deliver you a RICH experience to the standard that the best Melbourne Cafe’s are renowned for.

Whether it’s a hearty breakfast, or lunch with friends or that romantic dinner, Cafe Denaro will fill your heart and stomach with traditional Italian fare and fervour.

Open Monday - Friday from 7 am for breakfast and lunch. Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner from 6pm.
